        Plant stem cells, also known as "meristematic", are cells found at the level of the apical portion of the roots and at the level of the buds[1];
        they have the characteristic of being "totipotent", that is, of being able to replicate very rapidly, giving rise to any type of plant tissue.
        In nature, it is from these cells that plant growth begins and continues over time, regulated by the influence of certain genes and also by signals from the microenvironment. The plant stem cells used in the preparation of cosmetics are taken following a small cut of the plant, which is particularly rich in them, followed by laboratory cultures. This technique makes it possible to replicate natural and original cells with respect for nature and the environment .

The attention of the experts therefore turned to verifying the anti-aging virtues on human skin of a stem cell extract obtained from this botanical variety.
            Numerous studies conducted in vitro and in vivo have been able to demonstrate the anti-aging efficacy of apple stem extracts, and in particular have highlighted:
